This Maya asset management tool was custom-built to meet the specific needs of a studio, allowing artists to use their existing workflow while minimising their interaction with Perforce and folder-structure work.
The tooling creates folder structures, source files, and export files, and integrates with Perforce and the Unreal Engine to enable artists to focus on modelling while all file management is automated. When an artist is happy with the work, it will be submitted to Perforce automatically.
